Losing Symmetry

Sometimes the discontinuity in a symmetrical object brings interest to a photograph and may even be its own perverse symmetry. Flowers are seldom perfect but we still see the symmetry in their repeated patterns. Unlikely as it may sound, our eye can be drawn to the overall pattern by imperfections.
