To show motion the books say allow a little movement. Here the shutter captured the duck quite well but was too slow for the wings. Had the shutter release been higher everything would be in focus and the photo a lot duller. You can plan for this or adjust the shutter while the camera is at your eye and the camera on burst mode. Putting dynamism in the frame almost always leads to a great photograph.

  3. Beautiful shot, Victor. Most of the time I get a shot like this with motion blur, it is a matter of good fortune rather than good planning. Like other viewers, I love the clever title for this image.
