Spring cannot come soon enough. While last year we could put on cold weather gear and double bag our cameras, it has been, for the most part too cold even for that.

It is the same here. It was bright yesterday, but I simply don’t have the heart to go exploring until this relentless cold breaks. And, as of March 1, the snowshoes are still hanging in the basement.

Although some say the equipment can take this cold, it is not very pleasant to go take photos when it’s that cold ….. I wonder if I will still have to wear my snowsuit for our spring tulips

One of my cameras ceased to function properly in the cold works perfectly inside. In a good winter we double bag our cameras before coming in to avoid moisture in the lenses etc. This year it was me that could not move.
