With Attitude

Most ducks make way for humans and only occasionally, in my experience, has one stood its ground. I noted a scowl if not significant attitude in this duck. In its defense it was the time of the year when there was a fairly good chance of people feeding it, rather than it having to forage for itself and it may have been waiting for a hand out.

  2. I wonder if she’s getting ready to lay eggs. She has some girth on her! I love ducks and you capture them beautifully!

    • Thanks. In my experience geese are quite prepared to go on the offensive! I am told swans can get tricky.
