I love chickadees, they brighten my winter days. They always let me know when the feeder is empty by flitting around me and scolding – very clever of them!

I took it thinking it was going to fly right down the lens barrel. They landed on my lens hood more than once.

Only in the winter, if then, when they need to eat their weight in a day. People are always getting them to eat out of their hands.
