Wonderful, graceful, horizontal sweep of those long wings…. I like the way the soft blue water highlights the soft colors of the gull in the color shot.

The color seems to have greater depth and the blue water enhances the bird. Great shot.

Keep trying. Eventually with a high shutter speed and accurate and fast focus it happens.
