Spring Flower

While it’s now June, this was one of my first spring photographs of 2015. Long winter for most of us in the Northern Hemisphere and when spring finally arrived, it raised the spirits. I take time over my photographs, and this means a bit of a lag in publishing. Time and effort leads to a better result. The first week after the weather improved was amazing, everything perked up. This year is looking very good and I will be posting more 2015 shots starting next week.

There is something about the light in the springtime, maybe a combination of the sun’s angle and the lack of green leaves. Anyway, I find it interesting. It seems to last only for a week or two.

  2. Nothing wrong with letting the images mature. Very nice.

  3. Like the way that right hand leaf echoes the drooping curve of the flowers – nicely done!
