I am never quite sure what to make of chipmunks or squirrels, most run off with little notice while others perch curiously sizing you up. In the forest, taking photographs like these, there can be many distractions in the background and foreground. Only so much can be removed in Photoshop but it’s also relatively easy to blur some of the background. The new blur gallery in Photoshop helps highlight your subject and can be quite subtle in doing so.
