Red Squirrel and Peanut

In a popular reserve visited by families, some will want to ply the residents with goodies. Signs banning dogs and bikes are ignored and I suspect that a sign saying don’t feed the inmates would also be ignored. It does make them less cautious, more curious and sometimes a little aggressive (if expectations are too high). This was taken with my new D7200, which given its high-resolution and great auto focus, allows for a lot of detail. You still need to work on exposure, white balance and in post production highlights and shadows, lower noise, and sharpening. I used Photoshop shake reduction and Nik’s detail extractor (on the latter you can barely tell the difference, it only helped a bit in the tail).
