Synchronized Swimming (Five Photographs)

This is either synchronized swimming or “follow the leader”. The mother mallard was between my camera and her ducklings . I appreciated that she was not worried about anyone on shore. Every year people search for baby ducks and often the ducks get spooked and move in a hurry. You would be surprised at how fast they can swim. It was a great treat to watch these three swimming in tandem.
