American Widgeons (Six Photographs)

For a while theses Widgeons were the only birds people wanted to shoot in the park. Everyone was looking for them in different light, different colored water. I must say I took a large number of photographs and this is the second series on this blog. They came close to shore, did not seem perturbed by human presence and coolly did their thing usually in pairs. It’s wonderful to get their eyes and coloring just right with only a bit of moiré in such lovely light.
Great shots!
