Raccoon

There was no question in my mind that this scene was best in black and white. In color all sorts of thing impinged on the expression of the raccoon. I managed to handle the color cast (blue in the outer part of the fur), but overall it did not do justice to the expression on the animal’s face. Sometimes that is the sort of thing that dictates the best outcome.

  4. Wow, I’m amazed you didn’t spook the racoon. He looks so comfortable in the tree.

    • Fortunately I was a distance away. Lots of bush between us.
