Lilies (Three Photographs)

When it comes to photographing flowers outdoors, the search for perfection is often futile. Nature is full of imperfections, dirty water and damaged leaves. Shiny leaves cause reflections and can be distractions. There is usually little we can or should do about it. The key is the flower itself. I have focused my processing on the flower and ignored the rest. Lilies are great subjects because no one can mistake your subject and the detail is frequently amazing.
So green and beautiful ! Love it! 🙂

Lovely images. The lily reminds me of Taiwan where they are very popular. Certain lilies are dried and used for medicinal purposes.

The filtered light in the first one is ethereal. So nice to see summer flowers!
