Intimate Landscape (Two Photographs)

Readers of my blog could be forgiven for thinking that all I photograph is nature. I love nature photography but there is a lot more out there that interests me. However, the number of locations and subjects where photography is not permitted are increasing. In the age of ubiquitous phone cameras what did we expect? Urban landscape and intimate photography of the urban environment are probably going to be the last areas where photography in the city will become outlawed, assuming you take your shots from public space. The idea behind the intimate landscape in an urban environment, in my view, is the interesting mix of reality and the abstract you can capture.
Love the angles and texture in that second shot. It’s nice to see your other work. 🙂
