Experiment (Two Photographs)

Picking up from yesterday’s comment on the concept of a canvas as a way to think about background, I picked this photo to see what could be done. Not as happy with the B&W version as I am with the color, but the B&W is intriguing. The canvas idea is my way of thinking about how I want to highlight my subject, juxtapose it against a background. In this case a busy background.

An Experiment-2

  1. I prefer the color version because the green provides a focal point. The leaves and flowers get lost in the patterned water in B&W.
