There are a lot of guides on the web about posture in portrait photography. Looking at these photographs it seems to me that posture can be an important element of animal photography as well. Or put another way, why we prefer one shot over another. My favorite shot here is the one where the eye of the subject is almost hidden and with its back to us, the bird looks silly or perplexed. To each his own, but I think this series shows the impact of posture. Maybe someone should write a guide ๐Ÿ™‚
