Queen Anne’s Lace (Four Photographs)

Queen Anne's LaceTo view more of my photography please click on www.rakmilphotography.com

In North America this is called Queen Anne’s Lace, attributed to a story about blood dripping on lace, more importantly it’s a member of the carrot family and parts of it are “supposed” to be edible. The first photograph is a plain edit, I did a second color version of one with some glow to it. In the final black and white I emphasized the noise for an old grainy feel. Just a bit of fun with a carrot.

  2. Lovely pictures. I’ve always just called them wild carrot flowers – Queen Anne’s Lace is a much more attractive name. 🙂
