Robin Takes a Bath (Six Photographs)

Robins have always been a little special for me. When I was growing up all we saw in the city were pigeons and the rare robin. Rare as the robins were they also did not hang around like pigeons did, making them all the more exciting when seen. These days I usually see a robin far away or hopping down the path in front of me. So I was very pleased to capture a few minutes with a robin as it took a quick bath. Simple process here, touch up of the exposure, noise reduction, sharpening, modest tonal contrast and a levels adjustment for contrast.
I love watching our birds take a bath in our fountain. They are so cute. Nice series.

Lovely clicks!
The first pic almost looks like – Should I take a bath or not? 🙂
Reminded me of my sunday mornings as an undergrad 😀
