Great Blue Herons (Five Photographs)

I thought there would a confrontation between these two. It happens. But then this was the first pair of herons I have seen together in a very long time usually they are solitary hunters. It’s always nice to see something new and a bit of action! Given the even lighting these photos were a breeze to edit. From a photographic perspective the combination of large easily seen subjects with a story line is a gift.
