Ducklings (Three Photographs)

It’s said a photograph is worth a thousand words and I certainly would prefer to take a photograph than write a thousand words. In every type of photography there is an element of creativity, and photographs can lie just like people do, they can flatter just like people do. For a photograph to prove a fact in the digital era, it needs to be carefully taken and minimally edited (see Associated Press’s rules for photography). You need to assure provenance of the photograph before it becomes an element of history and even then purists will talk about the different renderings of color, and tonality. Welcome to a world where facts are flexible. As far as the ducklings go their concerns seem quite modest in relation to ours.
Your work is gorgeous, BTW.

Victor, I had shop on etsy that I closed recently because an honest buyer alerted me to how easy it is to steal images online. Have you found any ways to protect yourself?
