Forest (Three Photographs)

In my view, shadows are what make photographs of forests interesting and engaging; detail and some direction of the eye to a certain viewpoint are enhanced by shadows. On thinking about these shots, I decided to focus on B&W. That would enhance the contrast of the light, give more detail and help with leading lines or at least that was my thinking. I have included one of the color shots to make my point.
