Chickadees (Three Photographs)

Every time I hear the name Chickadee, I remember the W.C. Fields film with Mae West “My Little Chickadee” and how in his inimitable voice pronounced Chickadee with a long e in more than one short film. We share the same birthday but he was long before my time. The birds for their part are everywhere and with the bad weather more apt to eat out of your hand than not. I like them because when there are no other birds to shoot they step in.

  1. Chickadees are such adorable little birds. We have a yard full of them. Your photos are great! Have a blessed night.

  2. I like the first one, with the highlight in the eye. And it’s rare to see a full face-on view like in the third photo. Well done as always, Victor.
