I was thinking of doing a high key black and white shot here (e.g. defined as strong whites, lower contrast), but the downy looks better with a bit more contrast. I have left the colour version so you can see my starting point. There is a colour caste on the white feathers, easily removed but given my intentions I left as is in converting to black and white.
