The Nuthatch is a bird people like to feed making then tamer than most birds and easier to shoot. The details of these birds are interesting. Their feathers can be subject to moirè a phenomenon where repetitive patterns are exaggerated. Cameras increasingly do not have filters to fix this (they tend to soften the photo) and it is more easily dealt with in post processing with special tools in Lightroom and Photoshop, among others.
