Wow, that architectural style reminds me a lot of the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, or even the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. although that one is a lot more red. Interesting examples of “Neo Gothic Architecture.”

It’s the Chateau Laurier. Unfortunately the coming addition to it will ruin the view.

lol, there was so much Controversy over the addition. Are they actually putting that modern box on the back. I thought that spot looked awfully familiar. I havent really been so much behind the Chateau Laurier. Just the Front, or near the Locks, I’ve also been on the other side near the Bytown Museum. But never the vantage point you captured.

Yesterday I went for a walk in a neighborhood park that has a small lake, recently stocked with fish. I don’t fish but there were cute moments of parents and kids enjoying it and the sun! As I walked toward a bench where I like to read, I marveled at the green grass. I live in the Pacific NW so we usually have green grass but this has been a great year for rain. I love the moodiness of your sky and the historical buildings…and grass so bright green!
