There several ways to make your photographs of monuments look original but it’s always a good idea to take a postcard approach as well (they are just as difficult). The photo is of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

I am sure my collection of photographs of benches will never be a best seller, but I enjoy taking them and processing them. In this case I took a few liberties in the black and white treatment in choice of colour filters and contrast.

The Fountain At Parc St. Louis (Two Photographs)

A new discovery for me was a very Parisian style park in Montreal a few blocks from The Main. The park celebrates several artists, has a cafe in a small building to the west, and this wonderful fountain to the east facing St. Denis. Quite a magical place. The neighbourhoods to the north and west are great places for photography and good food.
