When I began doing posts with both Black and White and color versions, I did them because I was not sure about my B&W technique. After that it was inability to choose between the two versions (I have had a lot of help on that from the comments on WordPress). In this case, the two versions (color and B&W) are very different images. I am no expert in B&W. I am still learning new things. In the case of these photos the nature of the water and fall color worked out well, I think, in both color and black and white.
