I don’t feed animals in the wild. I am sure white bread is bad for ducks, and I worry about them trusting humans during hunting season. Other animals begin to count on food being provided and not forage as normal and in bad weather humans are not around. As I can do nothing about it when someone leaves seeds about and I see a guy like this, who can fault me for taking advantage.

I prefer my rodents in nature where they cause little bother. but yes they are rodents. 🙂

I don’t feed wildlife either. I think the only time that it is good to do so is when it is a particularly hard winter and animals need a little help to get through it. I think people should plant things that wildlife eat in their yards and in other ways provide suitable habitat for wildlife.
